
Tired of grass-tasting protein smoothie in the morning just to make sure you get those healthy mix of macros in? I’ve had that same issue. So I tried to come up with something that won’t bore me as much – I swear I surprised myself with this mix.
This creamy smoothie gets me going nourished into my day. Also, it was a treat for two – my husband loved this smoothie as well (and he’s not that much of a fan of vegetables and fruits like me).
Recipe are as follows:
3/4 cup unsweetened soy / almond milk (but for this recipe I used soy milk)
1 cup frozen pineapple, cut to cubes
1/2 ripe frozen banana
2 tbsps vanilla protein powder (mine’s from Soy Isolate from Healthy Options)
1/2 cup kale or spinach, with stems removed
Mix and drink and enjoy! And let me know if it’s yay or nay (or if you did apply any adjustments too).
